Today I feel great and energetic. The pain in my foot has disappeared completely; I fitted smoothly in a pair of trousers, that were quite tight a few weeks ago; walked to the shop 25 min. each way and did all my house-cleaning. Only the scales this morning didn't show a visible weightloss.
Every diet is a strain on the body, and fasting is hard work for the system.
Therefore easy going is good. The weekend is coming up, so it's good to relax and to pamper oneself a little bit. If you are planning a drive through the country, I advise you to sit in the passanger seat. Driving a car could be a little dangerous. Although I fell great, I noticed that my reaction and my movements are slower than usual. Everything drops a little bit in pace.
Concentration goes down a bit, and the brain isn't as quick as it used to be.
But no need to worry, it will pass.
Another thing I like to mention is breaking the fast. If for some reason it can't be continued, or the decided period had come to an end, to dig in straight away would be a great shock to the system. Two, better three days of gradually going back to normal food would be advisable.
1. Day
Morning rather watery porridge (rice- or potatoe soup)
Lunch soup with mashed vegitables
Dinner same as lunch
2. Day
Morning little bit more solid porridge (rice- or potatoe soup)
Lunch mashed potatoes (or ather vegis)
Dinner same as lunch
3. Day
Morning porridge or cereal, joghurt
Lunch boiled vegetables
Dinner Vegetables, little bit of soft meat
(give everything a good chewing )
In order not to gain back the weight, continue to eat moderately. Now that you have experienced one can survive and feel good with almost no food, there is no need to going back to old bad habits.
